"Break the bank", "Imagine" - Lots of Irons fans want former rival to replace Pellegrini
Mauricio Pochettino was sacked by Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday, after taking over at the helm in 2014.
This followed on from a run of five consecutive Premier League games without a win, which had left Spurs 14th in the table.
However, West Ham United are having various problems of their own, with their run of winless games now extending to seven games in all competitions.
There are now various fans who want to see a change being made at the club, with them hoping to see a move made for Mauricio Pochettino.
The Hammers have a history of making ambition transfer attempts, especially in the era of David Gold and Sullivan, so it is not impossible that the club could give it a go.
Though it would be a pretty incredible turn of events if the move was to be made, firstly due to the current stance of sticking by Manuel Pellegrini, as well as the fact that Pochettino has just left Spurs.
A selection of Twitter reaction to the idea of recruiting Pochettino, including posts from hopeful West Ham fans, can be seen below:
Let’s break the bank and get Poch at West Ham.If we have aspirations of being a big club then let’s aim big

Crazy decision mate & one they may just regret. Can’t see your new manager being better that Poch, I don’t like the “Special One” one single bit. I would take Poch @ West Ham if Penigrini is sacked. Saturday’s match is gonna be interesting for both our teams
