"Done nothing all season", "Absolute mare" - Many Palace fans hammer "deluded" 26 y/o star

After being involved in yet another drawn out transfer saga this summer, Wilfried Zaha somehow still remains a Crystal Palace player.

The Ivory Coast international has seemingly been wanting out for what feels like forever, but a move to either Arsenal or Everton failed to materialise before the end of the deadline.

Since then, Zaha has featured prominently for Roy Hodgson’s side, but has fallen woefully short of the expectations on his shoulders. According to Transfermarkt, he has yet to score in any of his 13 games this season, whilst the only contributions he has made, is two assists.

On Saturday afternoon against Chelsea in the Premier League, the 26-year-old produced a hugely disappointing performance, effectively getting bullied out of the game by teenage starlet Reece James.

As per Sofascore, he won just nine of his 21 duels, lost possession 12 times, and committed four fouls as he got completely frustrated with how things were panning out.

After seeing his display, Palace fans flooded to Twitter to voice their thoughts on their star forward.

Many Eagles supporters absolutely hammered the Ivorian, with one fan in particular insisting that he is “deluded” to think he could play for a club in the Champions League.
