"Hats off", "Blinder" - Loads of Rangers fans are drooling over "genius" for the same reason
According to Scottish Sun journalist Andy Devlin, Eros Grezda has rejoined Osijek on a permanent deal almost eighteen months after he signed for Rangers in August 2018.
The 24-year-old winger endured an underwhelming maiden campaign at Ibrox and has faded into obscurity during his second season with the club.
Steven Gerrard consistently overlooked him this season and he did not receive a single call up to the first team squad for a single SPFL or Europa League fixture before his departure.
The writing was firmly on the wall for the Albania international and supporters are naturally pleased to see the back of him.
Ross Wilson, the club’s new sporting director as of October 2019, has received plenty of endorsement on social media for managing to attract a suitor for Grezda, and the Gers faithful have been turning out in their numbers to laud his impact.
Amazed we’ve managed to get shot of Grezda tbh. Well done Ross Wilson ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป

News reports that Eros Grezda has returned to Osijek,in a nominal deal with potential sell ons for the future, is a great deal all considered
In that regard an encouraging start to Ross Wilson tenure & should give us hope any future sales will maximise income for Rangers

Getting rid of Eros Grezda was great work. Getting a fee for him was an absolute bonus.
Well done Ross Wilson.

And one fan alluded to the fact Grezda’s exit could free up space in the squad for a new player to come in.
With the January window open for business, fans may well be hoping this exit facilitates the arrival of a new player to bolster the club’s chances of winning the SPFL title.
No harm to the lad…but a space freed up for somebody else, whether that's a youth player or a new signing down the line, is a good bit of business. Good start Ross Wilson.๐๐ https://t.co/D7CN6ggjus

Two fans, however, went for a more creative verdict on the deal and talked up Wilson’s negotiating skills with a pair of tongue-in-cheek analogies.
Ice to the Eskimos, anyone?
Ross Wilson RSC. The guy could sell sand to the Arabs
