“Jealous”, “Dodged a bullet” – Many Leeds fans react to Championship transfer news
Leeds United want a striker in this transfer window.
It’s no secret that the Whites want a forward as they’ve been linked with numerous attacking options such as Sam Cosgrove and Che Adams, but one man who they won’t be signing this month is Rhian Brewster.

Understandably, many United supporters had thoughts on the matter, and they took to Twitter to give their views.
Some members of the fanbase weren’t too happy with the news that they’d missed out on Brewster.
One supporter said that he was jealous, while others bemoaned the Yorkshire club’s lack of transfer action thus far.

Others had a much more optimistic reaction to this news as another subsection of the Elland Road faithful seemed to be unmoved by Brewster signing for the Welsh outfit.

Didn’t want him, if Nketiah wasn’t getting in the team then nor would this lad

I’m glad he’s not come here tbh.

To make matters even worse, it was Swansea that had signed the striker. 12 months ago the Swans were again negatively affecting Leeds’ transfer plans as they scuppered United’s chances of landing Daniel James.
They were answering the phone today then !!

Congratulations on Swansea getting their phone line sorted out for this January. I wonder what excuses we will come up with this year ?

In other news, Leeds may want to make a U-turn on one man’s departure after a recent performance.
