"Needs to go", "Out of his depth" - Many Villa fans fume at man "not entitled to wear the shirt"
Playing in the FA Cup match against Fulham was probably seen as a warm up for Jonathan Kodjia, as preparations are made for further games.
With Wesley injured, Aston Villa look likely to rely on him as their main striker unless, of course, a signing is made.

Dean Smith even admitted after the game that it wasn’t high on their priority list, so it may have seemed as though it was a bit of a free pass for him.
However, that is never the case with fans, who want to see commitment from their players, especially someone who is coming into the team.

The Ivory Coast international ended the game with an assist, two key passes and three completed dribbles, but the supporters were far from impressed with him.
One fan claimed that his “attitude is terrible”, while another stated that “he’s simply not good enough”.
What’s more disappointing about today’s result is that out fringe players do not seem to be doing enough or care about getting regular games. Lansbury, Kodjia, Jota, not good enough. Let’s hope for some good signings in the transfer window #UTV #AVFC

Kodjia’s attitude is terrible, acts like he thinks he deserves to play and puts zero effort in. Can’t understand when people call for him to play. So out of his depth in the Prem too, dreadful at Spurs and against Liverpool.

Today and the burnley game proved to everyone who for some reason thought kodjia was a better option than wesley that hes simply not good enough. Signing batshuayi or another quality striker and keeping grealish will be the difference for us staying up or going down

There are even those who are saying that they don’t want to see the 30-year-old representing their club moving forward.
That stance varies between some saying the idea of him being their main striker during Wesley’s absence “makes me feel ill”, while others are suggesting he “needs to go”.
Following Kodjia’s performance when replacing the injured Wesley against Burnley, FFC suggested that his showing highlighted how much Villa need to find a replacement – it seems as though fans agree with this judgement after the Fulham match.
Can’t have Kodjia starting against Leicester I’m sorry

Kodjia needs to go, sooner the better.

The faster Kodjia leaves this club the better

the thought of lazy kodjia upfront for a month makes me feel ill….

Unfortunately I don’t think we have any option but Kodjia for Wednesday. His lazy work rate is unforgivable, can’t even get himself onside most times! I don’t ever like to slate any villa player but if they don’t but the effort in then they are not entitled to wear the shirt!

In other news, Villa fans are hopeful that targeted striker will join their club.
