"Absolutely Pathetic" - Lots of Spurs fans slam "overrated" man who was "physically invisible"
Tottenham Hotspur crashed out of the Champions League last night, putting any chance of actual success this season at very slim pickings.
Jose Mourinho’s side were defeated 3-0 by RB Leipzig in Germany, meaning they lost 4-0 on aggregate and now only have their Premier League pride left to play for.
They currently sit seven points behind the top four, so it is rather likely that the north Londoners are done for quite some time on the elite European stage.
Some of the Spurs faithful have been left fuming by the performance and in particular midfielder Harry Winks, who clearly failed to inspire against the Bundesliga outfit.
Here’s what has been said…
Winks and Sessegnon off right now absolutely pathetic from both of them. Tanganga looks well out of his depth too

Winks is actually useless

Jake Livermore, Nabil Bentaleb, Ryan Mason and Scott Parker were all better footballers for spurs than Harry Winks. Absolute fraud of a footballer

This winks disasterclass 👍🏻

Harry Winks is an absolute myth
— Conall (@Conall_Miller) March 10, 2020
Winks is the worst number 8 to play the game.

Harry Winks, outpaced, outwitted, outclassed, physically invisible, hurry back @MoussaSissoko #TOTRBL

Winks is a disaster in CM. Lloris at fault for both. Stability from those two and we could be keeping it competitive at least.

The 24-year-old’s display was described as a “disasterclass” as he lost possession 15 times, committed four fouls and only managed a passing accuracy of 80%.
Others brandished it as “pathetic” and that he was not only “useless” but also an “absolute fraud.”

The Englishman also won a measly 33% of his duels, so it’s fair to suggest that fans are right to be on his case post-match.
A recurring comment from some sections of his own fanbase blasted him for being “overrated.”
Winks is so overrated because ‘he’s spurs’

I don’t, I blame levy Lloris winks and all the other over rated players that r currently getting paid to do sod all

There were even comparisons made, stretching across former Spurs players to some of their rivals’ stars.
One fan reminisced about once having Luka Modric in midfield whilst others likened him to West Ham’s Mark Noble, claiming he’s just the Hammers midfielder but actually with an England cap.
A further member of the Spurs faithful said he was like Jesse Lingard, a player you’d rather see on your bench than in the starting XI.
To think we had Luka Modric once, now we have Winks.

all I'm seeing is Mourinho slander.
yet you've got;Winks – doing his best Mark Noble impression
Lamela – plays like he's dancing on ice
Sess – looks like he's won a magazine competition
Lloris – I've seen diesel tractors move faster
Aurier/Lucas – stealing a living— loco coco 🤺 (@cremedelacoco) March 10, 2020
Harry Winks again with one of the worst performances in a Spurs shirt I have seen. I don’t see anything in him, Mark Noble with an England cap

He feels like our Jesse Lingard tbh. Perfectly happy for him to be on our bench, but if he’s starting week in week out you know our squad is thin

Whose Line Is It Anyway: Roy Keane, Graeme Souness or Adrian Durham?
And in other news, Spurs correspondent suggests possible Alli sale..
