They are set to be challenged by their rivals Arsenal as they aim to bring the 28-year-old frontman.
While there are some Spurs fans who have allowed themselves to get excited about the prospect of signing him, there are plenty who simply don’t believe that the Mexico international will be making the move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Some fans feel that the frontman, who has 16 goals across the Premier League and Europa League this campaign, would be “better off at Wolves”.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s men currently sit two places above Spurs in the Premier League table, with it feeling as though they are on an upward trajectory, whereas Spurs have just been knocked out of the Champions League and FA Cup.
A true test for any Spurs fan: Can you match these iconic images with the right results?
In addition to the state the two clubs find themselves in at this time, Jimenez would be battling with Harry Kane for game time, which surely wouldn’t be an encouraging prospect considering the Englishman’s standing at the club.
Why would he come to spurs ??? Better off at wolves.

Wolves look like real cl contenders and their manager has built some fantastic foundations. Why would he join us ? We are a total mess.

He won’t come to us because we’re rubbish.

Don’t believe a word but would be great.

There are also some fans who don’t trust Daniel Levy to pay the funds that would be required to make this move happen.
The Mexican is valued at £45m on Transfermarkt, a fee that Spurs have only exceeded once, which saw Tanguy Ndombele join the club.
With all of the above considered, it seems like there is pretty much no hope among Spurs fans that Jimenez will be joining their club.

I would love it but we won’t pay the fee they demand.

Meanwhile, one Spurs player’s time may be up after transfer link.
