"Better than Martial", "Unplayable in his prime" - Lots of Man Utd fans drool over former star

Manchester United fans have hailed Nani on his birthday.

The former Red Devils ace turned 33 on Sunday and supporters rushed to lavish praise on the Portugal international after the club’s official account wished him many happy returns.

Of course, Nani currently plays in MLS with Orlando City, moving to the club in February of this year.

He is best known for his time at Old Trafford, though, where he made a total of 230 appearances in all competitions.

The winger, who played alongside the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and Carlos Tevez under Sir Alex Ferguson, winning four Premier League titles, the Champions League, the FIFA Club World Cup and two League Cups.

He scored 40 goals during his time in Manchester and also registered 73 assists.

And fans have expressed their admiration for the former United ace, who played for the club between 2007 and 2015; he spent the 2014/15 season on loan at Sporting Lisbon before a permanent move to Fenerbahce.

Nani…. what a talent. One of the most exciting players I have seen in red. Explosive, unpredictable, frustrating at times but always had the bravery to keep trying to play his game. There was a period where he was unplayable, 1st name on the team sheet. HBD Nani
