3 changes for Ancelotti, Keane & Schneiderlin start: Predicted Everton XI vs Liverpool - opinion
Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti will get his first taste of the Merseyside Derby when his team face Liverpool in the third round of the FA Cup at Anfield on Sunday.
The Italian has had three matches in charge of the Toffees so far, picking up wins against Burnley and Newcastle United before seeing his side beaten 2-1 by Manchester City at the Etihad in their previous Premier League fixture.

Now he will want his men to pick up a positive result against a Reds outfit who are still unbeaten in the top flight in 2019/20, and as things stand are cruising to their first-ever Premier League title.
Here is the starting XI we think Ancelotti will pick…

Goalkeeper Jordan Pickford continues between the sticks at Anfield, and he will be looking to put right his mistake that allowed Divock Origi to score a 96th-minute winner in this corresponding fixture in December 2018.
Ancelotti has favoured something of a back-three with Lucas Digne and Djibril Sidibe as wing-backs in recent matches, and we expect him to do the same against Jurgen Klopp’s men, too.
However, we believe he will bring in Michael Keane for Seamus Coleman in the backline to have an out-and-out centre-back against a frontline that could easily contain Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah if Klopp decides to stick with the trio.
In addition, Coleman did struggle in the role at times in the defeat to City.

Digne and Sidibe stay in the wing-back roles, but there are some changes in the middle of the park with Morgan Schneiderlin and Bernard – who Ancelotti has suggested could be available for selection – come into the XI to replace Tom Davies and Gylfi Sigurdsson – the latter has just one goal and one assist in 20 Premier League appearances this season.
Bernard looked good in more of a central role against Burnley, and will hopefully be able to provide some creativity for the strikers – Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison – against the Reds.
In other Everton news, the defeat to Man City showed the pressing need for Ancelotti to strengthen one position in particular, and it isn’t centre-back…
